One day, as they were playing, they happened to be sitting in their mother’s chair looking in front of a mirror. The boy was very pleased with his good looks, and congratulated himself. Jada got very angry of the praises he always was wailing about, especially after she looked at her own reflection. Running to her father, she began babbling about how Matix's good looks should only be given to a girl, not a boy. The father had sympathy towards her, but gave them both kisses and hugs.
Then David said, "I wish you guys would both look into the mirror every day, but here are my predictions for you. Matix, you are going to spoil your beauty by evil works, so stop boasting. You, Jada, will make up your lack of beauty by the nice things you will do."
